Christian Milian graduated from Yale College with a B.A. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and a Certificate in Education Studies. He currently works within the Office of the Secretary and Vice President for University Life (OSVPUL) as a Woodbridge Fellow. The Woodbridge Fellowship introduces recent Yale College graduates to the work and administration of Yale while providing experience for potential careers in higher education or non-profit organizations. His work involves collaborating with Yale's OSVPUL to enhance student life through the expansion of work in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion (through initiatives like Belonging at Yale) while also supporting the celebration of contributions made by the Yale community through major ceremonies (including Commencement).

At Yale, Christian was heavily involved within the Latino/x/e community as Chair for the undergraduate Puerto Rican students organization, Despierta Boricua. He has also served as Vice President for La Unidad Latina through which he mentored undergraduate Latino men. Additionally, Christian served as a mentor for students as a STARS Peer Mentor for underrepresented students in STEM and as a Residential Director for the First-Year Scholars at Yale program which served first-generation, low-income students as they transition to Yale.

Christian’s family is originally from Arecibo, Puerto Rico but moved to Waterbury, CT. Christian currently runs a near-peer mentorship program for high school students in Waterbury, CT in partnership with the Waterbury Public Schools and Be(A)Part, a CT-based nonprofit organization. Christian is now based in New Haven, CT and hopes to continue pursuing his interests in education by pursuing a graduate degree in higher education administration/student affairs.
