Rod is enthusiastic product leader with a proven track record of taking products from idea stage to millions in sales. He is currently in discovery mode, looking for his next adventure in blockchain, web3, and ML/AI. He is feeling blessed to be an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at he hometown New Mexico State University, where he can give back to the local startup community. He co-founded Listen Loop, a B2B SaaS company, where he envisioned and built a marketing technology product from mock-up to its first million in revenue in less than 12 months. Stefan C. Weiss ’96
Stefan C. Weiss, MD MBA is a physician/scientist and entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in the health care and life sciences industries. Dr. Weiss has a track record of leading teams through patient care and complex business analyses with clear, purposeful direction. A leader in the field of dermatology, he has secured multiple new drug approvals for the treatment of inflammatory skin disease and has been selected by his peers as one of the nation’s top doctors.
Currently, Dr. Weiss is CEO of Aniluxx Biotechnology, a company focused on introducing transformative therapeutics to our pet family members. He maintains an active advisory practice for clients focused on developing and commercializing pharmaceuticals directed at the treatment of dermatologic diseases.
Prior to founding Aniluxx, Dr. Weiss was the founder of the Weiss Skin Institute, where he served as President and Chairman. The Weiss Skin Institute was a regional corporate operator of dermatologic practices. Previously, Dr. Weiss worked as Senior Medical Director at Connetics Corporation a dermatology focused biotechnology company where he advanced successfully three drug candidates through NDA approval. Before joining Connetics, Dr. Weiss was a consultant at Accenture, as part of the pharmaceuticals and health care services practices.
Dr. Weiss holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, an MD and MHS from the Duke University School of Medicine and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Dr. Weiss completed a Residency in Dermatology at Stanford University and a Bioethics Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.
