In the next few weeks, we will hold our signature Hispanic Heritage Month events – our 2020 Leadership Conference on September 14-18, and 43^rd Annual Awards Gala on September 21. Both events will be held in an all virtual setting and are free to attend. The conference will include discussions on civic engagement, education, civil rights, the environment, the workforce, and the long-term impact of COVID-19 on the livelihood, health, and well-being of Latino families and the nation. This year will also feature two new opportunities – a Virtual Career Fair and a Pitch Competition. The CHCI Awards Gala will pay tribute to some of our community’s most distinguished leaders – including Isabel Allende and José Andrés, recognize our resilience in light of the current challenges facing the nation, highlight Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and showcase the emerging leaders in CHCI’s leadership programs.
